.DISCUSSION...

High pressure will build into the area today giving way to lighter
northwest winds through the morning before becoming west to
southwest this afternoon. South to southwest winds will continue
tonight through Monday and turn a bit breezy at times during the
midday and afternoon hours. Cold temperatures will persist today and
tonight with a slight warm up possible on Monday but still well
below normal for early December. The next chance for precipitation
will arrive around the middle of the week when a slight chance for
light snow will be possible late Tuesday into early Wednesday.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture content of grasses,
and other dry organic material on the ground, indicate that the
probability of a fast moving fire is low.  Outdoor burning under
these conditions can usually be performed with reasonable safety
precautions, but should be monitored.


The outlook for Monday afternoon...The grassland fire danger index
will reach the low category.
