...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN HAMLIN...CENTRAL
CLARK AND SOUTHWESTERN CODINGTON COUNTIES THROUGH 1215 PM CDT...

At 1147 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Clark, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Clark, Goose Lake, Henry, Willow Lake, Mayfield Colony, Hillcrest
Colony, Hazel, Bradley, Garden City, Vienna, Naples, Swan Lake,
Tinkertown, Silver Lake, Long Lake, Medicine Lake, and Pelican Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Aberdeen.
