The National Weather Service in Aberdeen has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Big Stone County in west central Minnesota...

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 621 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Barry, or
  near Graceville, moving southeast at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 617 PM CDT, 61 mph winds
           were recorded 2 miles west of Barry.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near...
  Graceville and Big Stone Colony around 625 PM CDT.
  Clinton around 630 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in Aberdeen.
