Radio Weather Synopsis
National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
412 PM CST Sun Nov 16 2025 /312 PM MST Sun Nov 16 2025/

An area of low pressure crossing Nebraska and Kansas will bring
mainly rain to the listening area Monday afternoon through early
Tuesday morning. Temperatures near the surface and aloft hovering
near freezing will result in a difficult forecast for northeastern
South Dakota and western Minnesota, where rain and snow will be
possible Monday night. A heavier band of precipitation may set up
over this area, and slightly colder air could result in a quick burst
of snow with brief slippery or slushy roadways briefly around the
Tuesday morning commute over and east of the Prairie Coteau. Any
accumulating snow will mainly stay over grassy or elevated surfaces,
with amounts around an inch or less at this time.

Dry weather will return for much of the daytime hours Tuesday through
at least Wednesday.

After lows in the 30s, highs will rebound into the 40s Monday
afternoon.
