Light winds and dry conditions will continue today, with highs in the
upper 40s to low 50s. Temperatures will fall into the 30s tonight.

An area of low pressure crossing South Dakota tonight into Tuesday
will bring changing weather. Winds will increase out of the northwest
overnight through Tuesday, with gusts of 30 to 50 mph. The strongest
winds will be over south central South Dakota, where gusts near 60
mph are forecast.

Light rain Tuesday morning will change over to snow by early Tuesday
afternoon and continue into Tuesday evening. There is a 30 percent
chance of 2 inches of snow or greater Tuesday through Tuesday night
north of a line from McIntosh and Mobridge to Redfield and Watertown,
and a 60 percent chance or greater over far northeastern South
Dakota and west central Minnesota.

Temperatures will fall into the upper 20s and low 30s Tuesday
afternoon. Highs will be in the 20s to low 30s from Wednesday through
the rest of the week.
