Active pattern continues today as rain showers move into the
listening area late this afternoon to this evening. Rain will begin
mainly over parts of central and north central South Dakota, but
will spread over northeastern South Dakota and western Minnesota
tonight through early Saturday morning. Highest rainfall totals
through Saturday afternoon are expected east of the James River,
where there is a 40 to 70 percent chance to see a quarter of an inch
or rain or more. Additional chances for rain come Monday through
Tuesday. Through that time frame, there is a 40 to 60 percent chance
for an inch of rain along the North Dakota and South Dakota border,
with totals expected to decrease down to around a quarter of an inch
moving south from there.

Overnight lows tonight will be in the upper 50s. Highs on Saturday
will range from the mid 60s over northeastern South Dakota and
western Minnesota increasing to the low to mid 70s over north
central and central South Dakota.
