Rain will continue over central South Dakota into Tuesday morning. There
is a marginal risk (level 1 out of 5) for severe weather over
portions of central South Dakota this evening into the early
overnight hours, where a few stronger storms with 1" hail and wind
gusts up to 60 mph will be possible. Heavy rain is possible with any
stronger storms, with localized flooding especially over areas that
have already received heavy rain.

Rain will expand across northeastern South Dakota and west central
Minnesota early Tuesday morning, before coming to an end Tuesday
afternoon. There is a 25 to 65 percent chance of rainfall over half
an inch from the evening hours through the day Tuesday, with around
an 85 percent chance over north central South Dakota between the
Missouri River and James River.

After lows near 60 degrees, temperatures will rebound into the upper
60s to low 70s Tuesday afternoon. These seasonal high temperatures
will continue through Wednesday.
