As high pressure departs, winds become predominantly south
southwesterly for Sunday with some locally higher winds for the
Sisseton hills downslope region. A front moves in during the
afternoon and causes a shift from southwest to northwest. The
strongest winds are expected over north central South Dakota, with
gusts reaching 30 to 40mph. Temperatures will be above average, with
highs in the low to mid 60s after starting out in the morning around
the freezing mark.
