The center of a surface high pressure system will build into the
area tonight into Friday morning. With a dry air mass in place plus
clear skies and light winds expected overnight, some of the coolest
temperature readings of the season are expected. Some spots of far
northeast south dakota and west central minnesota could see some
frost by daybreak Friday. Dry conditions will prevail until Saturday
when a low pressure system and cold front move through the region and
deliver scattered rain showers to parts of the listening area.

Lows tonight will bottom out in the upper 30s to mid 40s. Parts of
northeast south dakota and west central minnesota may see readings
briefly dip into the mid to upper 30s. Highs on Friday will warm into
the upper 50s to low 60s east to the low to mid 60s west.
