Despite the cold front, the mild air will remain. Highs will be in the low to mid 50s today. After lows near 30 degrees Sunday morning, temperatures will rise into the 50s again Sunday afternoon. A few 60 degree readings will be possible over south central South Dakota. There is a 40 to 50 percent chance of light rain Monday into Monday evening. Lingering precipitation will mix with and change over to light snow Tuesday morning into the early afternoon hours as much colder air sinks in. There is potential for northwest winds gusting 35 to over 45 mph on Tuesday. The strongest winds are expected over central South Dakota. $$ 10
