Clouds will be on the increase today as a warm front and associated
area of low pressure track east southeast across the Dakotas. Light
precipitation in the form of snow or a wintry mix will be possible
through the afternoon hours into tonight. Temperatures will be warmer
today with highs in the 20s and 30s. A cold front sweeps through the
region tonight into early Wednesday. Some light snow or flurries
will be possible as this front moves through. Brisk north to
northwest winds will develop and usher in much colder air.
Temperatures will be the warmest early Wednesday before readings
quickly fall into the single digits to low teens by midday.
