Radio Weather Synopsis
National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
307 AM CDT Tue Aug 18 2026 /207 AM MDT Tue Aug 18 2026/

An unsettled weather pattern will continue for the next few days
across the listening area as nearly daily chances for showers and
thunderstorms will be possible. A cold front will track south across
central and southern South Dakota into Nebraska by this afternoon
and tonight. After some early morning showers and storms, most of the
day will be dry as temperatures climb into the upper 70s to low 80s
this afternoon. Parts of south central south dakota could see a few
storms develop this evening. Some storms could be strong to severe.
Otherwise, high pressure building southward into the area late today
into tonight will allow for overnight temperatures tonight to fall
into the 50s.
