Radio Weather Synopsis
National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
315 AM CST Fri Dec 5 2025 /215 AM MST Fri Dec 5 2025/

Light precipitation will linger through this morning. Mainly snow is
expected, but rain and freezing rain will also be possible. Snow
accumulations of less than half an inch are expected through the
rest of this morning. A glaze of ice may also be possible.

Another clipper system will move through the area on Saturday
morning into afternoon. Snowfall up to three inches will be
possible, with the highest totals expected over eastern South
Dakota. Wind around 15 to 20 miles per hour could potentially
combine with the fresh snowpack to create some isolated drifting
snow, potentially making travel dangerous.

Hgih temperatures today will be in the upper 20s to low 30s over
northeastern South Dakota and western Minnesota into the mid-30s
over central South Dakota. Overnight lows tonight will range from
the single digits in north central South Dakota to the teens in
central South Dakota.
