210 NZUS43 KABR 031918 SYNABR MNZ039-046-SDZ003>011-015>023-033>037-045-048-051-040930- Radio Weather Synopsis National Weather Service Aberdeen SD 218 PM CDT Fri Oct 3 2025 /118 PM MDT Fri Oct 3 2025/ Strong winds today out of the south will only slowly weaken overnight, but remain elevated over the Prairie Coteau of northeastern South Dakota, with gusts of 35 to 45 mph from eastern Marshall County down through Summit and South Shore. Temperatures will fall into the 60s by daybreak Saturday. Highs Sunday will range from the 70s over north central South Dakota to the upper 80s east of a line from Pierre to Aberdeen. An area of low pressure over western South Dakota will shift over central South Dakota Saturday, before strengthening over southeastern North Dakota and northern Minnesota on Sunday. Expect windy conditions east of a line from Vivian to Aberdeen Saturday and Saturday night, out of the south will gusts 30 to 40 mph. Rain and a few storms are expected Saturday night into Sunday morning, but the higher amounts have again shifted to the west. A tenth of an inches or greater of rain is expected northwest of a line from Pierre to Aberdeen. Little to no rain is forecast over west central Minnesota and east central South Dakota. There is a Marginal Risk, or level 1 of 5, for severe storms Saturday night over central South Dakota. Damaging winds will be the main concern. Heavy rain or hail will also be possible. On Sunday the winds will be switching out of the northwest, with gusts of 35 to 45 mph and locally higher gusts. Drier air and lighter winds will move in Monday, along with highs only in the upper 50s to low 60s. $$ 06
