Radio Weather Synopsis
National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
309 AM CDT Wed Jun 25 2025 /209 AM MDT Wed Jun 25 2025/

Showers and thunderstorms will continue to overspread the area this
morning as an upper level disturbance interacts with a surface warm
front draped across southern South Dakota. Although there is a
marginal risk for severe weather with a couple of storms robust enough
to produce locally strong winds, the larger threat will be heavy
rainfall. This could turn problematic in areas that have seen recent
heavy rainfall within the last week or two. This pattern will persist
into tonight and Thursday before clearing the area by Thursday
afternoon and evening. After a brief break on Friday from active
weather, more thunderstorms are expected by late Friday into the
start of the weekend. Some of those could potentially be severe
Friday night.

Highs today will remain in the upper 60s to mid 70s. Lows tonight
will be in the 50s to low 60s. Highs on Thursday will range from the
70s east to to near 80 in the west.
