Radio Weather Synopsis
National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
254 PM CST Mon Dec 8 2025 /154 PM MST Mon Dec 8 2025/

Milder air continues to stream into the region, with readings into
the 40s west river. A clipper system moving down out of Canada,
through North Dakota and Minnesota will generate rainfall out ahead
of it in the morning. Temperatures will be near to below freezing as
the rain moves in, leading to ice issues for the morning commute
across northeast South Dakota. Temperatures do eventually warm above
freezing, with highs in the 40s in central and north central South
Dakota to upper 30s to low 40s in the northeast. As the system
passes, winds of 50 to 65 mph will spread across the region. Some
wrap around snow into the northeast will also follow, but its
uncertain if this will present a significant blowing snow threat.
