Radio Weather Synopsis
National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
135 PM CDT Wed Aug 12 2026 /1235 PM MDT Wed Aug 12 2026/

Showers and storms will be moving into the listening area this
afternoon through the evening into the overnight hours. There is a
slight risk for these storms to become severe, with the main threat
of wind gusts 60-70 mph and hail up to 1 inch in diameter.
Additionally, this evening, some wildfire smoke could make it to the
surface over northeastern South Dakota. This could cause the air
quality to decrease slightly and affect those who are sensitive.

Temperatures tonight will cool into the upper 50s to mid 60s before
warming into the 70s Thursday.
