Dry conditions expected for today and tonight. A storm system will
bring a 25 to 40 percent chance of rain over central SD starting
Monday midday, with rain spreading north and northeastward across
the listening area. Chances increase to 65% James River Valley and
eastward into west central MN Monday evening through Tuesday morning.
Colder air moving in late Monday night into Tuesday morning will
result in rain changing to a wintry mix of mainly rain and snow.

Winds will increase tonight, out of the southeast, and continuing to
be breezy through Monday afternoon with gusts of 20 to 30 mph,
highest over the Leola Hills and Sisseton Hills. Highs for today and
Monday will still be about five to ten degrees above normal ranging
in the 40s and 50s and lows in the 30s. Behind the system, colder
air will filter in with highs only ranging in the 40s.
