.DISCUSSION...

A weakening low south of the vessel will continue to weaken and
move inland over Kayak Island sometime late tonight to early
Sunday morning. This will result in diminishing winds and a shift
in wind direction from east to west and then south over the next
24 to 30 hours. Overall forecast confidence with the low track and
strength is low to moderate due to little support aloft in
steering the storm inland. Given this, there is a chance easterly
winds may prevail through as late as tomorrow afternoon should the
low linger in the Gulf longer. This is a lower likelihood
scenario, but remains possible. This forecast reflects the middle
of the road scenario with the low moving inland early Sunday
morning and a switch in the winds around midnight. Looking ahead
to Sunday and Monday, light southerlies will prevail. Rain showers
will persist through the forecast period.

Tides in this forecast are for Cordova and will likely vary slightly
between Cordova and the site of the vessel.
