.DISCUSSION...
A ridge of high pressure over the region will keep conditions
rather tranquil through today. The main issue today will be patchy
fog around the forecast area this morning. Any fog is expected to
taper of by around noon, with only a few patchy clouds lingering
through the day under mainly sunny skies. Winds will be generally
by light; however, northerly winds will increase to between 5 and
10 mph through the late afternoon and evening. Patchy fog is
expected to redevelop around the forecast area by this evening and
linger into early Monday morning before cloud cover increases in
advance of a frontal system that will stay well south of the
region, over the northern Gulf. A stray flurry or very light snow
shower is possible early Monday morning. Otherwise, it will remain
mainly cloudy with light winds for Monday.
