...STRONG SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS FOR THE WESTERN KENAI PENINSULA LATER
THIS EVENING THROUGH EARLY MONDAY MORNING...

Another round of strong winds are expected to develop across the
Western Kenai Peninsula later this evening following gusty
conditions this morning. Gusts as high as 55 mph will be possible,
especially along the coast from Homer northward to Nikiski, with
the strongest winds developing after 9pm and lingering through 6am
AKST.

People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown
around or damaged by the wind. Prepare for the possibility of
power outages. Use caution if you must drive.
