Total snow accumulations up to 1 inch and ice accumulations of a light glaze to one tenth of an inch. * WHERE...Anchorage, Lower Matanuska Valley, NW Kenai Peninsula, SW Kenai Peninsula, Skilak Lake, and Southern Susitna Valley. * WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 6 AM AKST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A mix of freezing rain and snow will begin later today, progressing from Anchorage and the western Kenai Peninsula into the Mat-Su Valleys through this evening. Increasing east to northeast winds will slowly warm temperatures above freezing on Sunday, resulting in a transition to plain rain in most locations for any lingering precipitation.
