This includes the cities of Quinhagak, Kipnuk, Toksook Bay, Mekoryuk, Bethel, Kwethluk, Akiachak, And Kasigluk. * WHEN...From this evening through Monday morning. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The storm associated with Ex-typhoon Halong will bring rain and strong southwest winds to the region tonight and Sunday. This will result in a storm surge that backs up the Kuskokwim River from Kuskokwim Bay to Bethel and may result in the river reaching flood stage between this evening and Monday morning. - Http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood - If you live near or along the Kuskokwim River stay alert and be prepared to take action.
