This includes the cities of Skwentna, Willow, Talkeetna, Trapper Creek, Petersville, Chulitna, Broad Pass, And Denali Highway. * WHEN...Through Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Ponding on roadways may result in hydroplaning. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A multi-day rainfall event is underway across Southcentral Alaska. Rainfall totals are generally expected to range between 2 and 4 inches for the Susitna Valley, with locally higher amounts possible... particularly in higher terrain.
