...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM AKDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Anchorage bowl.

* WHEN...Until 1000 AM AKDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Ponding of water over roadways is leading to minor
  flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water levels
  continue to fluctuate along Chester Creek and water levels along
  other small streams in the area are also rising.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 345 AM AKDT, reports of heavy rain is occurring the
    advisory area. This is causing urban and small stream
    flooding in addition to overflowing of poor drainage areas.
  - Bands rain showers are expected to continue across the
    Anchorage Bowl through mid-morning Friday. These rain showers
    may produce brief, heavy rain along with gusty winds.
