...FLOOD ADVISORY FOR SNOWMELT IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM AKDT FRIDAY
FOR THE UPPER NUYAKUK RIVER...

* WHAT...Minor flooding caused by snowmelt is expected.

* WHERE...Nuyakuk River.

* WHEN...Until 815 PM AKDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas
  along the Nuyakuk River.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 813 PM AKDT, river gauge reports indicate rising water
    levels from rapid snowmelt is occurring along the Nuyakuk
    River and may cause minor flooding as the river nears Minor
    Flood Stage later this week.

  - For Nuyakuk River:
    At 4:45pm the stage was 10.61 feet.
    Flood Stage is 11.0 feet.
