...FLOOD WARNING FOR AN ICE JAM NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM AKDT
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam continues.

* WHERE...Kuskokwim River near Upper and Lower Kalskag.

* WHEN...Until 500 PM AKDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 230 PM AKDT 5/5, the River Watch Team reported that the
    breakup front passed Lower Kalskag and then stalled
    downriver, likely due to low water and still intact ice
    downriver. River levels have dropped slightly over the past
    24 hours but remain elevated.
