Some shoreline erosion may occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Water levels could potentially rise several feet above the normal high tide line. The highest water levels are expected to occur Wednesday afternoon into Thursday. The highest water levels should be from Kivalina to the Kotzebue Sound. There is still an abundance of uncertainty with the exact water level heights and we will continue to update with the latest information through the course of the event. Initial impacts will be felt earliest around Kotzebue Sound (Wednesday) and latest around Utqiagvik (Thursday). Fresh water intakes and fuel tanks could be at risk in the most vulnerable communities.
