...COASTAL FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH
LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Water levels 2 to 4 feet higher than the normal high tide
  line. Minor coastal flooding and erosion expected.

* WHERE...Yukon Delta Coast.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 4 AM AKDT Sunday.
  For the Coastal Flood Watch, from Tuesday morning through late
  Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS...Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property
  including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure
  may be inundated. Some shoreline erosion may occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highest water levels 2 to 3 feet above the
  normal high tide line should be expected around Hooper Bay and
  Nunam Iqua tonight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

* WHAT...Water levels 2 to 4 feet above the normal high tide line.

* WHERE...Bering Strait Coast and Southern Seward Peninsula
  Coast.

* WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, until 4 AM AKDT Sunday. For
  the Coastal Flood Watch, from Tuesday morning through late
  Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS...Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property
  including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure
  may be inundated. Some shoreline erosion may occur. Localized
  beach erosion may occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Expect water levels to increase 2 to 4 feet
  above the normal high tide line tonight. Impacts shouldn`t be
  too out of the ordinary, but minor erosion and wave run up is
  possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Significant coastal flooding possible.

* WHERE...Western Arctic Coast, Northwest Arctic Coast, Northern
  Arctic Coast, Kivalina and Red Dog Dock, Lower Kobuk Valley,
  Baldwin Peninsula and Northern Seward Peninsula.

* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon through Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Low lying property including homes, businesses, and
  some critical infrastructure may be inundated. Some shoreline
  erosion may occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Water levels could potentially rise several
  feet above the normal high tide line. The highest water levels
  are expected to occur Wednesday afternoon into Thursday. The
  highest water levels should be from Kivalina to the Kotzebue
  Sound. There is still an abundance of uncertainty with the exact
  water level heights and we will continue to update with the
  latest information through the course of the event. Initial
  impacts will be felt earliest around Kotzebue Sound (Wednesday)
  and latest around Utqiagvik (Thursday). Fresh water intakes and
  fuel tanks could be at risk in the most vulnerable communities.

* WHERE...Shishmaref, Eastern Norton Sound, St Lawrence Island and
  the Yukon Delta.

* WHEN...From Tuesday morning through late Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS...Low lying property including homes, businesses, and
  some critical infrastructure may be inundated. Some shoreline
  erosion may occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Water levels could potentially rise several
  feet above the normal high tide line. The highest water levels
  are expected to occur Wednesday afternoon into Thursday. The
  highest water levels should be the Eastern Norton Sound. There
  is still an abundance of uncertainty with the exact water level
  heights and we will continue to update with the latest
  information through the course of the event. Initial impacts
  will be felt earliest in the Yukon Delta (Tuesday morning) and
  latest around Shishmaref (Wednesday morning). Fresh water
  intakes and fuel tanks could be at risk in the most vulnerable
  communities.
