...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Including the Noatak, Kobuk, and Koyukuk Rivers.

* WHEN...Through Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff from last week`s rainfall is resulting
  in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and
  flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Additional rainfall of up to an inch expected through
    Thursday Night for most of the area which may slow down the
    recession of elevated water levels. Localized areas on south
    facing slopes of the Western Brooks Range may see up to 2
    inches of rain through Thursday Night.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons living along streams should stay alert and be prepared to
take action if a warning or advisory is issued, or flooding is
observed.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
