This is the highest on record by over 3 ft since the gage was established in 2003. Water has now inundated portions of the Umiat airstrip and is encroaching on structures in the camp. High water extends downstream to the Colville River Delta where several ice jams have formed over the previous 24-hrs, leading to flooding of the eastern floodplain. Once these ice jams release, communities and infrastructure downstream should prepare for and expect high water and flooding over the next couple of days. Water levels are expected to continue to slowly rise and level off through the end of the week as additional high elevation snow melt is expected to make its way downstream. - Http://www.weather.gov/aprfc PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
