...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON AKDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Kobuk River at Kobuk.

* WHEN...Until noon AKDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poorly drained areas.
  The old road is flooded and water levels are near new road.
  Several residences are surrounded by water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - As of Thursday morning the public has reported minor flooding
    in Kobuk. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen since
    Monday. Continued moderate rainfall is possible through
    Friday.
