...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM AKDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Sanctuary River near Denali Park Road

* WHEN...Until 1000 PM AKDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 300 AM AKDT, river gauge reports indicated rain-induced
    rises in waters on the Sanctuary River at Denali Park Road,
    with levels rising to 9.06 feet, an increase of 10 inches in
    5 hours. Additional rainfall amounts of around a half inch
    are expected through early this afternoon and could lead to
    additional rises. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to
    begin shortly.
