.DISCUSSION...
Widespread light rain is forecasted late Tuesday west of Fox and
Bettles, with some scattered and light showers into the Yukon
Flats. Chances for showers has also increased south of Fox, from
Fairbanks to the Chena Rec area Tuesday evening/night. Rainfall
totals will be around a Trace to 0.10 inches south of Fox, while
north of Fox receives 0.10 to 0.30". Chances for wetting rains are
low in the Yukon Flats, some cloud cover should keep temperatures
capped around 70 degrees there as well. Winds will largely remain
out of the southwest with the strongest gusts expected in the
Yukon Flats and foothills of the Eastern Brooks Range.
