.DISCUSSION...
Key Messages...
- Rain is occurring in the Southeast Interior with wetting rains
in the Fortymile Country and Eastern Alaska Range through this
afternoon. The Upper Tanana Valley, southeast of Delta will
only see a couple of showers with slight chances for wetting
rain.
- An isolated thunderstorm is also possible along the front,
mainly from Delta Junction south/east into this evening.
- Minimum RHs have been higher today, they will gradually decrease on
Tuesday and Wednesday with most spots getting into the 30 - 45%
range.
- Another frontal system approaches the Interior with scattered
showers in the Brooks Range and isolated showers elsewhere.
- Confidence is increasing for a warm-up in temperatures and
lowering RHs heading towards the weekend and next week.
