.DISCUSSION...
Key Messages...
- Warm and dry everywhere through Thursday, scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms become prevalent on Friday, especially
north of Fairbanks with only slight chances for showers
south/east of Fairbanks.
- Temperatures will be in the 70s and low 80s, warmest in the
Tanana Valley and Yukon Flats on Thursday. Slightly cooler (3 to
5 degrees) on Friday, but still largely in the mid to upper 70s
across the area.
- Min RHs mainly above 30% across the Interior but a couple of
isolated locations in the Tanana Valley may approach the upper
20% range.
- Winds remain weak, but typical diurnal wind gusts to around 15
to 20 mph are possible each afternoon, but they won`t be
widespread.
