.DISCUSSION...
Temps continue to rise into the low 80s for Interior valleys
today, and then mid to upper 80s by Sun for most Interior Valleys
outside of the Upper Tanana. Min RHs will be largely in the low 20
percent range. Isolated wet thunderstorms this evening over the E
Interior near the ALCAN, and then the SE Interior/Fortymile
Saturday. Sunday will see light northeast winds and more
widespread thunderstorm coverage across most of the Interior along
with an increase to widely scattered wet thunder northwest of
Fairbanks.
Monday sees a larger area of widely scattered wet thunder,
extending from Northway to Chicken through Fairbanks west. Near
Red Flag conditions are possible in the Yukon Flats on Monday with
northeast winds increasing to 10 to 15 mph, temperatures in the
upper 80s and min RHs around 20 percent.
