.DISCUSSION...Our warm and dry day will continue through this
afternoon with 80s across the eastern interior. Tonight we will
see significant RH recovery with values greater than 65%. Isolated
thunderstorms are possible this afternoon the upper Tanana Valley,
Fourty mile country, and the White mountains. These thunderstorms
should produce wetting rain associated with them.
Tomorrow we will see a cooling trend with temps in the upper 70s
to low 80s. RH values will be in the mid to upper 20s with
significant recovery overnight. There could be isolated
thunderstorms throughout the day in the higher terrain.
Tuesday we have a good chance to see Isolated to Scattered
thunderstorms through the central interior as well as the southern
slopes of the Brooks Range. These storms could drop up to 0.5" of
QPF with the more persistent storms. Temperatures and RH values
will be above critical values. The exact location and timing of these
storms are still unknown but the ingredients are all there.
