.DISCUSSION...
Key Messages...
- Remnants of a cold front continues to shift farther into the
southeastern portions of the Interior. This will continue to
provide scattered showers and gusty winds, between 20 and 40
mph, through the end of today.
- Higher pressure builds in across much of eastern Alaska on
Saturday which will lead to a brief warming and drying trend.
Temperatures across the Interior are expected to be around 70
degrees, with slightly cooler temperatures to the southeast.
- A cold front will be moving across the Interior throughout the
day on Sunday, bringing another round of scattered showers and
gusty winds. A slight chance for thunderstorms cannot be ruled
out on Sunday for the northeastern Interior as the front moves
across.
