.DISCUSSION...
Key Messages...
- Most spots will remain in the upper 60s to around 70 tomorrow with
mid-to-upper 60s on Friday.
- The southwest winds around the White Mountains this afternoon are
around 10 mph, gusting to 20 mph. Those will further diminish to
around 5 mph, gusting to 10 mph this evening.
- A few gusts up to 15 mph are still possible in Tok for the
remainder of this afternoon before diminishing.
- Min RHs hover around 50% or more in most spots through the
weekend. The exception being in the Upper Tanana Valley this
afternoon, dropping to the lower 30s%, then around 35-45%
tomorrow through Saturday, then rising up to 50-60% for Sunday.
- Overall trends show isolated to scattered showers through
Friday. An isolated thunderstorm is possible in the Fortymile
country this afternoon/tomorrow, then broader coverage of isolated
thunderstorms in the Eastern Interior on Friday.
- High uncertainty remains this weekend and next week for rainfall
as multiple disturbances interact with the area, but the potential
for wetting rain increases across the Eastern Interior for the
later periods.
