.DISCUSSION...
A few showers are possible in the morning, but most of the area
will be dry throughout the day. There will be some sun in the
afternoon, especially in the Southern Interior which will bring
temperatures into the low 70s. Expect temperatures in the low to
mid 70s in the Tanana Valley through the end of the week, with
highs in the mid to upper 60s elsewhere. Min RHs will be around
40-50% in most spots too, the only exception will be in the Yukon
Flats where and Upper Tanana Valley where RHs may reach the 30-40%
range Thursday and Friday. Winds will be fairly mundane through
the period.
Isolated thunderstorms are possible from Fortymile Country to the
Dalton Highway Summits Friday afternoon. There may be a stray
storm in Fairbanks Friday evening. Though it shouldn`t be a big
lightning day.
