.DISCUSSION...
- Expect isolated thunderstorms through Friday evening from the Brooks
Range south towards the Alaska Range. By Saturday, isolated
thunderstorms shift farther south over the Southern Interior and
Alaska Range.
- Brief improvement in min RHs Friday afternoon over higher
terrain of the Interior with a drying trend through the
weekend. Min RHs will generally range between 30-40% with a few
25-30% possible this weekend, especially in the Upper Tanana
Valley.
- Winds remain fairly light through Saturday before strengthening
Sunday morning/afternoon through the Alaska Range Passes. Winds
gusting upwards of 50 to 60 mph are possible, especially in Isabel
Pass.
- Rain moves in on Monday as a front arrives.
