Key Messages...
- High pressure in the area will push minimum relative humidity
values to drop to 20-30% and high temperatures to rise into the
upper 60s and lower 70s, with isolated showers confined to Forty
Mile and Alaska Range today, expanding to the Upper Tanana on
Saturday.
- A pattern shift is expected later this weekend into next week as
upper-level troughing builds into the state, leading to the
return of scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms as
temperatures trend cooler.
- Conditions trend warmer and drier Wednesday onwards as
temperatures build back to more seasonable levels.
