.DISCUSSION...
The high pressure ridge has shifted east over the Canadian Yukon. A
southwest flow aloft will spread an upper level disturbance over the
central and eastern Interior. This will increase shower and
thunderstorm activity today and Tuesday. Wetting rains will be
spotty...except in the western Interior. The increased cloud cover
and showers will result in cooler temperatures and higher humidities.
Smoky conditions will improve except in the Yukon Flats. High
pressure is expected to redevelop late Wednesday into the weekend
for another hot and dry spell.
