.DISCUSSION...
Key Messages...
- Isolated to scattered showers persist with a slight chance for a
thunderstorm, especially in the Eastern Interior.
- A higher chance for rain in the Upper Tanana Valley tomorrow as
a weak front pivots and moves through from the northwest.
Precipitation looks like, so wetting rains are not guaranteed.
- Winds are strongest in the AK Range with southerly gap winds up
to 40 mph this afternoon. The Upper Tanana may have a few
southwest wind gusts to 20 mph. Winds shift northwest on Sunday,
sustained 10 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 30 mph.
- Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 60s today of most of
the area with min RHs lowest in the Upper Tanana around 30 to
40%. Temperatures drop to the 50s and mid 60s tomorrow, min RHs
will be at least 50%.
