.DISCUSSION...
Key Messages...
- A few isolated thunderstorms are likely over the Yukon Flats this
afternoon into the evening. Isolated chances may meander into the Upper
Tanana Valley during this timeframe as well.
- Intermittent showers over the South Slopes of the Eastern Brooks Range,
Eastern Interior, and Upper Tanana Valley are expected to gradually
diminish by tonight into tomorrow morning. By tomorrow afternoon, chances
of rain return to much of the Interior and continue through mid week.
- Stronger northwest gusts up to 25 mph are expected through tonight over
the Upper Tanana Valley from the Alcan Border through Delta Junction.
- High temperatures today are expected to reach the upper 50s with high
temperatures tomorrow warming to the upper 60s. If the forecast overperforms,
highs in the low 70s are possible. Min RHs are expected to remain in the
60 percent range today and dry into the upper 30s/low 40s percent range
tomorrow.
