.DISCUSSION...
Key Messages...
- Highs will be in the low to mid 60s with min RH values as low as
the upper 30s in the Upper Tanana Valley this afternoon. South
winds will continue through Isabel Pass into tonight and peak
near 50 mph Tuesday morning before declining.
- Rainfall will spread across the southeastern Interior by Tuesday
evening into Tuesday night, with isolated thunderstorms possible
in the area. Wetting rains are likely even in the Upper Tanana
Valley, including near the Mukluk fire. Highs will fall into the
upper 50s Tuesday and low to mid 50s Wednesday.
- Rain chances will decrease in the southeastern Interior by
Thursday, with a moderately warm and dry day possible Friday
ahead of additional cool weather over the weekend.
