.DISCUSSION...
Key Messages...
- Isolated thunder is still possible this evening, extending from
the Eastern Brooks Range southwards to the AlCan border.
- Spotty light rain will accompany a front as it moves eastwards
across the Interior this evening and tonight.
- Cooler temperatures are expected Saturday behind an exiting
frontal boundary, which in turn will resulted in elevated RH
values through the weekend.
- The Upper Tanana Valley will see drying initially Sunday with RH
values in the 30s with the Yukon Flats following by Monday.
- A warming and drying trend will expand across the rest of the
Interior next week as a ridge of high pressure dominates.
However, isolated thunder will be possible as next week wears on
as increased surface heating leads to increased instability.
