.DISCUSSION...
Mild conditions with temperatures reaching around 70F on Saturday
and mid 60s on Sunday. Overnight RH recoveries remain very good,
with values between 90 and 100 percent. Minimum daytime RH values
will fall to between 40 and 50 percent. Scattered to isolated
showers remain in the forecast through the weekend, though wetting
rain chances remain very low. There is a slight chance for
isolated thunderstorms in the hills to the northeast Saturday
evening, bringing the possibility of outflow gusts. Surface winds
will remain light, turning westerly on Saturday afternoon. Expect
stronger southwest gusts above the ridges. These gusts will have
difficulty mixing down, limiting strong gusts near the surface,
with occasional west/southwest gusts around 10 mph reaching the
surface during the afternoon.
