.DISCUSSION...Winds begin to increase again through the day today with blizzard
conditions possible by about 9pm this evening. Winter Storm Watches for blizzard
conditions have been issued. This event looks to persist through most of Thursday
with strong winds, blowing snow, and very cold wind chills. Wind chills are still
expected to moderate on Wednesday with warmer air moving in behind a warm front,
though winds will still be quite strong. There is good confidence that winds will
be lighter by Friday with temperatures between 0 and 15 below through the weekend.
