.DISCUSSION...
A low pressure located near Kotzebue results in northeast winds that
slowly back northerly through Friday afternoon while gradually
diminishing. A high pressure ridge brings lighter and variable wind
directions Friday evening before settling on light west-northwest
winds Friday night. Clouds lower as steady rain moves in tonight,
but rain transitions to showers or drizzle Friday morning before
precip ends and cigs improve to MVFR around midday Friday. A surface
ridge moves across both rescue sites Friday night into Saturday
morning.
