.DISCUSSION...
Similar conditions are expected at the fire site today. Winds
will continue to be out of the west/northwest with occasional
gusts up to 15 mph possible around peak heating. Good overnight
recovery is expected, however winds may remain slightly elevated
as an upper-level system moves over the site to the south. This
may limit the overnight RH recovery in comparison to the previous
night. In addition, this system will bring isolated chances for
showers during the afternoon on Saturday.
Rain will become more widespread by the end of the weekend as
another system moves south over the fire site. With this system
moving down from the Arctic, wetting rain potential will be slim.
However, this system is expected to bring a period of seasonably
cooler temperatures to start the next week.
