.DISCUSSION...
Broad troughing over the state will continue to support scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms today and into next week.
Expect afternoon showers today across the Tanana Valley with
wetting rains likely. Chances for isolated thunderstorms diminish
slightly going into Monday but remain possible through midweek.
Temperatures will remain around seasonable norms with highs in the
low 60s and lows in the mid 40s. Min RH values increase today to
around 50% but quickly dry out by Monday back into the 20 to 30%
range. Winds will be out of the west today before shifting towards
the southeast Monday afternoon. Gusty winds up to 20 mph are
possible at times Monday through Wednesday as winds strengthen
through the Alaska Range Passes beginning Tuesday morning.

cloudy (85-95 percent). Chance of rain showers
in the morning, then rain showers and slight
chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon.
