.DISCUSSION...
Today will be another warm one, with highs in the mid 70s. Mins RH
values will be a bit higher, only reaching down into the mid 40s,
with scattered showers and widely scattered thunderstorms in the
area. Any showers or storms will bring a slight chance for
wetting rains contingent on one of these showers or storms moving
over the fire. Any heavy showers or thunderstorms that move over
the fire site could bring brief heavy rain and gusty winds. Gusty
winds could also occur with any storm outflows without one needing
to move directly over the fire. Cooler weather is likely Tuesday,
with highs falling into the upper 60s up to around 70 and min RH
values further rising to near 70 percent. Through Tuesday,
moderate southwest winds are expected, with sustained winds as
high as 15 mph, with higher gusts up to near 20 mph possible at
times Tuesday during periods of solar heating when cloud cover is
not too thick.
